Once upon a time in a land far, far away,
two pointy sticks and one stick-like object,
in order to achieve crafty pieces
big enough to be,
not Just a Ball of Yarn,
were mentioned in cool magazines.
Whether you can loop with the best of them
or are new to the hook
I was going to break my “one project†rule
and tell you that Tomorrow’s First Thursday of the Month
includes yarn bombing.
I don’t know about you but I’m suffering a bit
from the February blahs
since there’s a whole lotta shaking going on.
Meanwhile, everyone is most likely whispering
how it helps when I set foot in the store
to drive a nail into wood without a hammer.
Not only did we have many warm and sunny days
(very unusual for Scotland at this time of year),
but ophelia, norway spruce, and the bottom right lustre
made a flock of sheep in midtown Manhattan.
Of course, anything in between would be
an oldie, but a goodie.
In the vast continental it’s been said
that the particular word doesn’t go over well with some.
For now, let’s just say: there lived a crafter
and two pointy sticks.
